China’s skyscraper SEG Plaza, one of the tallest building in China was forced to evacuate after it started wobbling and shaking on Tuesday.
SEG Plaza is located in Shezhen and is around 300m tall. On Tuesday around 1pm suddenly started wobbling and shaking which forced everyone to evacuate the building and left shoppers in a panic.
The building was fully evacuated and the area was sealed by 2:40pm according to local media reports.
The skyscraper was build in 2000, and is a home to a bug electronics market with various different offices as well.
While investigating the cause behind the shake & wobble, officials ruled out earthquake as the reason because there was none recorded in the area. “After checking and analysing the data of various earthquake monitoring stations across the city, there was no earthquake in Shenzhen today,” the statement said.
