Ola to start door to door oxygen concentrator delivery for consumers.

Amid rapid Covid surge in the country and a massive need of oxygen for the Covid patients,Ola through its Ola foundation (a philanthropic branch of OLA) has ‘partnered with GiveIndia in order to provide oxygen concentrators to the needy’ said Ola foundation on Monday.

The service will be provided for free via OLA mobile app with a target of 500 oxygen concentrators to be delivered initially, starting from this week in Bengaluru. And further Ola and GiveIndia plans to target around 10,000 Oxygen concentrators to be delivered all around the country, in the coming weeks.

The customers just have to request a concentrators by provinig basic necessary details through OLA app. The request will be validate and concentrator will be picked up and delivered to a customer’s door step by a specially trained OLA driver.

Late, when a customer has recovered and no longer requires an oxygen concentrator, it will be picked up by OLA drive and will be given back to GiveIndia tin order to prepare it for the next delivery and use.

“We must come together and help our communities during these unprecedented times. We hope this initiative brings much-needed support during these very difficult times and helps in mitigating the pain and the anxiety among those impacted,”Ola Chairman and Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said.
