On Thursday, Northern Railways suspended Olympian wrestler Sushil Kumar from service following his arrest on Saturday in Sagar Kumar Dhankad’s murder case.
“Sushil Kumar was detained in police custody on May 23, 2021 for a period exceeding forty-eight hours. Now, therefore Sushil Kumar JAG/ (Adhoc) IRTS is deemed to have been suspended with effect from the date of detention i.e. 23rd May, 2021 in terms of Rule 5 (2) of (D&A) Rules, 1968 and shall remain under suspension until further orders,” said Northern Railways in an official statement.
Meanwhile, On Wednesday Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar was taken to back to Chatrasal stadium to recreate the crime scene by the Delhi Police. And was also taken to the Model Town residence, allegedly over which the case Is based “Land Dispute”. The crime branch of Delhi police has been investigating each and every aspect of the case In order to find Sushil Kumar’s relation with gangsters and their associates that has come up during the investigation till now.
