Lockdown in Uttar Pradesh extended till May 6.

Uttar Pradesh authorities announced extension of their weekend lockdown till May 6 amid rising covid cases across the state. The partial ‘corona curfew’ imposed in Uttar Pradesh has been extended till 7am May 6, said the official order issued by additional chief secretary Navneet Sehgal.

The current restrictions were to be lifted on Tuesday morning (May 4) and now it has been extended for the second time in a row.

The uttar pradesh government has appealed it’s people to remain insides uncless absolutely necessary, while restrictions and guidelines to remain the same as it was. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh currently has over 2.9lakhs active covid cases.
