Delhi will receive vaccine Sputnik V after June 20, says Kejriwal.

Amid vaccine shortage in Delhi, vaccination of age 18-45 age group has been halted for more than a week now. Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced they’ll getting thier supply and first batch of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine after June 20.

The Delhi government had already announced earlier that they’re in talks with Dr.Reddy (India’s manufacturer and importer of the Sputnik vaccine). Since, the Vaccine drive has been halted for a while Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said they’ve written to the centre about the vaccine shortage in the capital and has got a confirmation that new batch of doses will arrive by June 10.

The vaccination programme in Delhi has been hit bta an acute shortage with vaccines availability only limiting to private hospitals in many areas.
