Delhi Airport shuts Terminal 2 due to fall in passengers amid Covid-19.

The Delhi International airport of Tuesday announced closure of their Terminal 2 in the view of fall in number of passengers travelling amid Covid-19 crisis in the country.

From May 17 midnight, all flights will be handled at the T3 terminal only, said the authorities of The Delhi Airport.

The Delhi Airport authorities stated they’re currently handling only 325 flights a day, while they used to handle more than 1500 flights a day before the lockdown.

Also, according to Ministry of Civil Aviation, daily domestic passenger have come down to around 70,000 a day from an average of 2.2lakhs per day.
