The Central Board to Secondary Education is expected to holds its annual 12th boards exams betweem July 15 toh August 26, 2021 for the session 2020-21. The exact datesheet is likely to be release by June 1.
Exams will be held offline after reviewing the feasibility of taking the exams in the view of major protests over social media calling for cancellation of the 12th board exams amid the record surged Covid crisis.
The CBSE has planned to take exams by August end and declare the result by September with final decision to be taken by June. The exams will not be held on as per regular protocols but new guidelines will be issued instead, including exam patterns, protocols, rules, regulation, marking scheme and result guidelines. The states have to choose between the two options 1. To take exams for fewer and important subjects only (3 hours each) or 2. To take exams for all subject but for 1.5 hours each instead of 3 hours.
