All India Radio employee gets robbed on gun point in Delhi.

A 42 year-old All India Radio’s employee was robbed at gun point by three armed men in Delhi’s Rafi Marg. The incident happened on June 1, around 5 in the evening. The man was waiting for a bus at a bus stand when 3 armed men in a car approached him on pretext of asking an address and then robbed him. The men snatched a bag containing ₹72000, took his atm card and withdrew ₹32000 from the bank later on.

According to the police the victim Mohar Singh is an employee of All India Radio and worls as an attendant at Akashvani Bhawan and lives in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar. The incident took place when Mohar was wait for a bust at Akashvani bus stand and 3 men in a car approached him asking route towards INA metro station. While he was explaining the route, one of the men pointed a gun at him and he was robbed on Gun Point.

A case has been filed and investigations are on, said Delhi Police.
